hm... email spam seems, in the very long run, to be on the decline. Less than 500 messages on my gmail account, and I remember when it hovered around 1600.

Akismet has found 29 in the last month, and right after I upgraded to Wordpress V3 a few moths ago, it was double that, but it's hard to tell how my posting affects that.
