Signal Boosting - art books, music festival and crowd-sourcing brains!
People other than me are making gorgeous art books on Kickstarter! Go support them!

Angry, Young, and Poor is a local summer festival of music that's fundraising on Indigogo: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/angry-young-poor-2013
And on a more serious note: Brains for Josiah. (Not the zombie kind, the Internet crowd-source kind.) Josiah is a fellow geek, Sam is one of 'my' artists, and their daughter Cassandriel is adorable. Unfortunately, Josiah is suffering some kind of mental deterioration that doctors have been unable to pin down. Avocados and chiropractic adjustments sometimes help. Which is a gross over-simplification; go read the site for the details. Sam is reaching out to see if anyone might have leads for them to pursue to get a diagnosis that would give them a place to start treatments.
I need to get in the habit of collecting and posting some signal boosts more frequently - there were a couple of things I'd have liked to broadcast that ended before I had a chance to.
