Pants hunting is scary!!! I always have trouble finding jeans that fit, I hate it when they go up my butt, and I have a bikers thighs, so it makes it evcen harder to get the back to fit right. (doesn't help I gained a bit of weight too!):p

I have a long torso so I try to avoid low cut jeans, I do have a pair though, they are pretty nice ( except they make a funny *fwap* noise when I walk, I think there is a bit too much fabric in the crotch area). Re: Underpants showing: people need to get a belt, or at least wear a long shirt, I don't wanna see your thong (guys might but that is another story)! A scary trend right now are when certain of my my male co-workers bend over you can see their underpants... >_
