Heya Ellen, as so often happens when I comment, I have a question. :)

I'm looking at the signature page pdf and it says that by signing I agree to the contract on the EMG site. But by having no reference to a version number or date of the contract, you have no way of knowing what I agreed to, if the contract changes for some reason. I see the contract at least has a date in it, so there should be a way to track things.

How do you notify artists on file when a contract changes?

Thanks.

Firstly, by email. I email everyone if there's a change, explain the change, and artists have the option to write back and say 'I disagree,' and take down their work.

This in another of those 'almost done' sorts of things that the lilypad will cover... next time I change the document, the lilypad will have a cover page when an artist logs in, saying 'the contract has changed,' sending them to it to read, and if they don't click 'I agree,' their work will be taken offline. If they don't log in and agree to the changes within some (not yet set) amount of time (probably a month or six weeks), the lilypad will automatically take their work offline.

Ah, cool. Thank you much for the explanation.
