(no subject)

My house smells less toxic than it did yesterday, despite another hawt date with ProSeal spent with my cheek pressed into the basement floor sealing up the water tank. I got the goop on, we'll wait (a week or so) for a non-tack cure, and then glob on another go-round. It is not a pleasant activity. Jake says that god doesn't want us to have water - the signs are unmistakable and clear. I told him that he has to live with me, not god, and that I DO want water, dammit, so he's out of luck. I've worked too hard to give up now.*

Then I got to do t-shirt inventory. The results of the t-shirt inventory are: I have lots. Order shirts. Except white unisex shirts, which are of course, what I have orders for. *sigh*

But, since I also don't have white transfers (also on order!), I'm sort of symmetrically screwed, and waiting breathlessly now for deliveries. Well, not breathlessly, since I've got too much to do to hold my breath until I'm blue.

Finished inking the map on Friday, and got some pages of EMG-Zine anthology done, and new work up, and hoping to do more of the same every day this week. Plus emails, and please, finally get caught up on orders.

If I were very good right now, I'd clean up my studio in prep for a heavy week, but I am not very good. Instead, I am going to go eat something sweet and watch StarGate. Bad monkey.

I too did inventory yesterday. I have to say after all the stress folks were having over it, it went pretty well, we got done 8:45 ish, which beats 10pm-12am. We got to count it all by ourselves, lots less stress than when our company has the REGIS folks come in.

As for the water, God doesn't mean for you to not have it, maybe He just means for you to really appreciate it when you get it. Of course He could be going "It's Alaska, what do you expect?" <:) At least you get to be in a beautiful part of the country even if it does have it's hassles at times, at least you don't have to hear about people getting shot at the place you used to live 4 months ago! Two people in two days right after another! One got shot in the head after getting into an argument (on the 2oth), the other led police on a car chase and then they shot him (the 21rst), makes me feel sick. Now my husband is saying "Looks like you were right(to get out of the neighborhood)."
