Probably most people don't look out their window and wonder whether the white stuff coming out of the sky is snow or volcano ash...

The closest thing we get to South Florida Snow is when the everglades are on fire, I come out in the morning and my car is sometimes covered in "snow" lol.
I'd love to hear more about your experiences living in Alaska, what brought you there, etc. I love your entries with photos of snow and where you live. If I'm being too personal, I apologize, but you live in basically the exact opposite of where I live in so many ways and I find it so fascinating. It must be so neat to live there!!
