Some of the worst drivel I've ever written. *Dies of shame* I hate it deeply and don't want to post it. I think I won't.
Did not so much as look at my car today - left it sulking in the driveway with her battery disconnected and spent the day troubleshooting a leak, printing and packing for the show tomorrow, and doing a bare minimum of writing. I'm 2500 shy of where I wanted to come into the weekend, and will not likely have time tomorrow to get any in.
I at least have a little bit of an idea of where to take the plot after this... an interesting twist I hadn't really planned on, that (I hope) makes it a little more interesting.

I was bored with mine the night before last so I spent most of last night rewriting the part I got bored with(I was getting sleepy too, so I guess that was part of it). Since I am not really wordly enough to have lived/visited a desert like what I am describing(for the most part), I used Google to search for pictures of what I was thinking of and used that as something to help me with describing the region. The internet is really nice for research. I am behind on where I wanted to be as well. I caught up from when my computer decided it wasn't really going to save all the work I did on the 2nd (gah!), but then was tired from rewriting and only got so far into my wordcount for that day. I am trying for the 1667 words a day. I keep checking word count " am I there yet?" The hardest part is the plot, you get these little ideas and opefully by the time you get done writingthem you'll have the next idea, but its a little boggling to think you have to do this for a whole novel. I guess I could use my time at work to figure things like that out.

Sorry to hear of your car troubles, Sandy is still looking for a back window for the saturn from when the drug dealers decided to smash it out ( also got two of our tires, but those are easier to replace/fix). At least you don't have rats up there trying ot make nests in your car as well!
