I have a question! Do the "kickoff" times of the Sketchfest tend to vary, or do you tend to start them up at around the same time before? Thinking back I can't remember, because it never mattered to me before I got on this weird/different time zone!

I've been running them at the same time each time: noon on Friday to noon on Saturday my own local time. It ends up being basically all day Saturday for people in Australia, and... I'm not sure what it ends up being at your end of the globe!

*checks* Okay, if I've done it right, it looks like 10 PM on Saturday night to 10 PM Sunday night - basically all day Sunday with a little bit the evening before, if you're a night owl.

Ah-ha! That makes sense. I was asleep on Friday before that time, and we were out and about all day Sat. No worries! Now I know when to be looking out for it! I'll vote for one in December, since I'm impatient having missed this one!

Hey, I'm free for the January 7-8 and 28-29. That's great to make two a month! Will that be ongoing?

I've had a few thoughts... ;p

I thought that we could perhaps create a zazzle account where artists donate their finished works for sale on t-shirts, mugs etc and the proceeds go to the sketchfest.

It would be good to create a mailing list for the sketchfest so that no-one missed out on it. I saw quite a few people saying on facebook that they were sorry to have missed it. Mailchimp is free up to 1000 email addresses.

Could we put an alert on a piece to be notified by mail when the user posts a finished work?

I find it still a bit awkward to navigate through the gallery and I like to leave at least one comment for everyone, this is getting more difficult as there are more pieces.

I dunno about haveing two a month *every* month, as much as I adore SketchFest, I think that would wear me out! :D

The Zazzle idea is interesting,I never got into that stuff so I am not sure how one would work that.

Ooo, a notification for finished sketches that have been upload is a good idea!

Have you used the feature where you can look at just one artist's work? I find that really handy, it is on the Wall, "Participating artists". Any that are blue have a gallery. :)

i like both dates somehow i feel if we let some time go by artists come all full of ideas and energetic to do a sketch fest since we already had one in december, this time i would like to see it done mid or late January :)

ellen sorry i forgot to ask before remember that link you once posted with the time zone differences??? i have an artist friend overseas i told him about sketch fest and was asking me about the time zone, and couldnt find the link
