Dec. 8th, 2010 10:28 amI HAVE MY CAR BACK!!!
And it is the shiniest car in all of Fairbanks.
Seriously - it gleams more than it did when I bought it.
It was so nice driving home in it - all comfy, with my heated seat and Blizzaks.
I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this body shop: Interior Body Shop, for you locals. They're down at the very end of Peger, and do top notch work; are great to work with, and don't make promises they can't keep. VERY happy with them.
Orders to pack today, and more emails to tackle, and then it's off to look for some work. (Work that, yaknow, pays!)
I havean hour of writing (another 800 words on The Visit!) and an hour of artwork to redeem from my diligence yesterday, and I'm adding these incentives:
Orders packed and labeled: Another hour of art OR writing
1 hour of work searching/marketing/networking: (close enough...) can code on the Torn World site for 1 hour
10 emails and 50 archived: Another Chopping Block post
Right at the moment, I am icing my ankle. It was swollen enough last night that Jake spotted it through a winter sock, and I'm a little limpy. Getting my foot out of my boot after coming home with the car was surprisingly ouchy. Norway feels very bad, and keeps coming up to lean on me, wherever I am.
I think I'll cash in on my hour of writing first, then tackle emails, then... see what happens!
Did I mention that I HAVE MY CAR BACK?!
