1. What's the last vivid dream that you remember having?
Catching fish with Ali's wife. Somehow this slippery little placostomous-style bottom feeder had escaped its aquarium... or hadn't been put in an aquarium yet... or something. Anyway, we chased this damn half-invisible fish all around her apartment... for a fish, it was real-ly mobile out of water. I had that dream last night.

2. Do you have any recurring dreams?
Yes. Being chased. Not running-style with monsters behind me, but where I was in hiding in a dozen different places, staying out of sight, always wondering if my cover had been blown. Each dream is a little different, and usually ends with me leaving wherever I was.

3. What's the scariest nightmare you've ever had?
It was framed like a cheesy romance... jealous lovers, the whole nine yards. But in the end I was stabbed in the gut, and bled to death trying to hold my lover's artery closed. It was frightening, and I could feel the blood seeping out around the hand I had pressed to my wound... weakening every moment, trying so hard to keep the other person alive, and dying, knowing that I'd failed. The thing that really got me: the blood was warm. Hot, even.

4. Have you ever written your dreams down or considered it? Why or why not?
Yes. I sporadically keep a dream journal. It reads like surreal poetry.

5. Have you ever had a lucid dream? What did you do in it?
Yes. If I like the dream, I just sort of go along with it and have fun. If I'm scared or uncomfortable, I visualize a computer frame around the thing, and use the file > open command to browse to a better dream. :P

When I'm anxious and having nightmares I am usually in a house, something bad is trying to come in and I run rampantly around trying to lock all the doors. Ick. Not nice.

Ellen, could you be a dear and tell me HOW to make these 'sub-posts', like this is? Then I could also start putting at least some of the zillion meaningless quizes I do into 'hiding'. *grin*

And I do read your entries. I like reading your entries. And I know the craving for feedback and comments, both in LJ and Elfwood. It's addictive. 'I get comments, I exist.'

*hugs*
