Sketch Fest makes me brave...

I got seven sketches done this time:



Two of them at least are destined to be finished: Within the Fairy Ring and Kin and Ink. Nella Fantastia will be refined a bit and put up at Portrait Adoption if she doesn't sell first, and I am actually a little sad to see my Steampunk Self go, though I know she's going to a good home (and doesn't look ALL that much like me).

I'm going to go collapse for a while!

I'm always impressed by the people who bust out paint for sketchfest. I usually don't even look at paint until I have a pretty clear idea what I'm going to do with it. Awesome.

Honestly? It's terrifying and way, way, WAY outside my comfort zone. But that's a lot of what I use Sketch Fest for, and if it fails miserably? I've lost at most an hour of work, and learned something. So far, it's been entirely worth the risk.
