Can you tell it's been a slow day at work?

I re-wrote this survey because I found the original a little long, it didn't answer all the questions I really wanted to know and had a number I found frivolous. I appreciate honesty and criticism. You people give me plenty of un-asked-for warm-fuzzies, so don't feel like you have to butter me up. :P I'll answer this, or the original version, for anyone who asks.

**DO YOU THINK I'M:**
1. Intimidating? eh... somewhat. But I am easily intimidated with a massive inferiority complex sometimes.
2. Self-absorbed? You? Nah... judging by the amount of shameless self-promotion you put out through your journal I'd say that your pretty balanced
3. Unrealistic in my goals? Not unrealistic. Just... big. Big, that's right. You reach foir the stars to catch the moon, and there ain't nothing wrong with that, or even wanting the stars still once you've reached the moon. Better to have large goals than non at all. Maybe however, on a day-t-day basis, you push yourself too hard trying to do too many things at once. You need to remember to eat more regularly and to make taking care of yourself a top priority. Whoo. long spiel.
4. Vain? No.
5. Honest? Yes.
6. Temperamental? I can see you as being stubborn and occasionally moody, but not really temperamental.

**JUST SOME QUESTIONS:**
1. What do you think I'll be when I grow up: a printing giant with a rustic castle in the woods of Alaska.
2. Who is my best friend: Jake?
3. What song (if any) reminds you of me: ..um, not really. I associate songs with books more than people.
4. Do I remind you of any characters on TV: er... I do not watch tv. I am thinking you'd make an interesting crocadile hunter, though.
5. If you could give me a nickname, what would it be: see, I have this horrible feeling that you dislike being called Ellie" with great vehemence. So I have no idea.
6. Have you ever had a dream about me: not really. I had a dream about Alaska once though.7. If you could give me anything, what would it be: ooh ooh! Ok, one of those really deep sunken tups, like in the Prefect's bathroom at Hogwarts!
8. If you could promise me anything, what would it be: I try not to make promises as they're so easily broken.

1. Am I average, decent, good-looking, beautiful, hot: beautiful.
2. Would you ever kiss me: nope.
3. Do you ever think about me off-line: yes, lots
4. If we spent a day together in your area of the world, where would we go and what would we do: well, see, I *do* live in Los Angeles... I'm not sure what we'd do in just a day. Probably plot a lot and laught a lot and elicit mildly concerned looks from strangers who think we're planning to take over the world or something.
5. If you could describe me in one word, what would that word be: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

**EVERYBODY**
1. Do you wish we were closer, geographically or friend-wise: yes. a resounding yes to both. Not sure which I'd more prefer.
2. What's your favorite thing about me: your stick-to-it-ivness, even, sometimes (although you really shouldn't) at the expense of your personal comfort. That you posess an admirable quality of determination to get something done, international orders or Banks be damned!
3. What would you fix about me: "fix"? You're not exactly broken anymore. And if I took away the fact that you'd broken your back would we have EMG? Prolly not. But, if I could give you a brand-new, healthy spine, I would. You and Kass.
4. If you were in charge of my biography, what would the bookflap read: Well, see, if *I* wrote it, the bookflap would most likely be cluttered with acclamations and kudos from criticis across the globe. Heh.. just kidding. I do not know. I am actually not sure if I'd make a very decent biographer. I have a hard enough time telling family stories in my lj that make sense. I think, though, that it would say something very flattering.

I apologize for the verbosity of this. I tend to type to much.

**DO YOU THINK I'M:**
1. Intimidating? In your strength of will to get shit done? Yes. And I admire it tremendously.
2. Self-absorbed? No. You would not have opened up EMG to so many artists if you were.
3. Unrealistic in my goals? No - you've got what it takes to back them up.
4. Vain? Not as far as I can tell from your lj. :-) You take artwork criticism well, too.
5. Honest? Yes, but perhaps too nice sometimes to kick people's ass when they deserve it.
6. Temperamental? In a crazy artist sort of way, probably due in some part to being overworked and not having enough free time for yourself.

1. What do you think I'll be when I grow up: You will rule the world. Hallmark shall grovel at your feet.
2. Who is my best friend: Jake, I'm guessing.
3. What song (if any) reminds you of me: Uh . . . for lack of anything better, Wild Child by Enya. Or perhaps The Pheonix by Kate Price.
4. Do I remind you of any characters on TV: After a long thought, perhaps Gaget from Rescue Rangers. The smart mouse that was always building things?
5. If you could give me a nickname, what would it be: Master! Heh.
6. Have you ever had a dream about me: Not that I remember.
7. If you could give me anything, what would it be: A tablet. :-) And time to use it.
8. If you could promise me anything, what would it be: Your house is going to be beautiful and things will procede as you've planned.

1. Am I average, decent, good-looking, beautiful, hot: To be honest, I haven't seen many photos of you. But your artwork is beautiful, and I think artist's work is usually based on themselves. :-)
2. Would you ever kiss me: No, because I wouldn't want Jake mad.
3. Do you ever think about me off-line: Yes.
4. If we spent a day together in your area of the world, where would we go and what would we do: This is pretty much the same thing I wrote for Kate, but we'd go to Rocky Mountain National Park and spend the day there - have a picnic - then maybe come back and go thunderstorm hunting.
5. If you could describe me in one word, what would that word be: Many come to mind, but determined seems to stand out the most. Dedicated, as well.

**EVERYBODY**
1. Do you wish we were closer, geographically or friend-wise: Yes - and I'm hoping we become so.
2. What's your favorite thing about me: Your self starting ability and your sense of direction in your life. Your unflinching courage.
3. What would you fix about me: Your lack of drawing time.
4. If you were in charge of my biography, what would the bookflap read: Heh. Can't write it out as I'd like because I need to sleep, but in brief: a blurb about your rise to power in the stationery business, some highly complimentary quotes, a section on your dogged determination, confidence, and talents, and a teaser about what fascinating projects you have planned for the future.
5. What pictures would you most like to see of me: A wedding photo would be nice. :-) Artwork wise . . . well, more, obviously.
