Monday list, photos, weekend and plans

ellenmillionAm in a wretched headspace the last few days, but am determined to wrestle out of it.

Jarl sends his first blackmail demand to Bai... This section ties it in with the City of Lights storyline and sets up the next scene quite neatly. Like I'd planned it or something!
Took Guppy to the pool for swim classes on Saturday! It was decidedly a mixed bag - she was variably upset and crying, but I don't think it was the water, just the echoing noise and So Many Other People and Babies! She would cry, then splash a little, then hug me, then cry, then splash and little and reach for other babies, then her face would crumple and she'd cry. We'll do it again so she gets comfortable with it. Afterwards, we showered and dried off, and she was happy-babble-y in her carseat while I was getting dressed. It helped that the locker room had quieted down by that point. She continues to sleep like a champion, 9-11 hours a night. She'll wake up a few times (5 or 6 times last night, actually, but most nights just once or twice) and babble, maybe give one or two short cries, then go back to sleep on her own; I haven't had to get up in over a week now. BLISS.
