Yesterday was cold and windy, but Guppy really, really wanted to go outside. So we did!

Poor little monster woke up very, very early this morning, and made quiet miserable noises for a little while. I turned up the monitor to hear her say, "Mama, I'm scared." Heartbreaking! I had to get up and let her know I was still there, figuring I was done with sleep for the night. "Sleep with Mama? In Mama's bed?" (I knew how THAT would go... "Mama is SLEEPING. SLEEP Mama, SLEEP! Where's the ray? Make the bed? Help Mama make the bed?") So, I pointed out that she had her own bed, and hugged her and rocked her for a little while, and she let me put her back down and cover her up. And... she's still asleep!

Off to use this time productively.... :)
