I got one of those 'safety tips for women' emails today, and found myself grateful, once again, that I live in a place where I /do/ feel safe giving strangers rides and I don't have to inspect my car and those parked next to it before I get in.

Writing muse has me by the ear, and I'm so painfully grateful I don't even care if I'm not working on EMG like I probably should be. I've got work time tonight, and I'm taking two whole days off this week: one day for running around/orders/RWH Tarot, and one solely devoted to the webpage. I'm curious to see how much I can accomplish in a full dedicated day. :) Be afraid.

I'm just letting you know that I will be shipping out the bookmarks and bookplates this week. I wil send along an original or two but will wait to send you some of the stuff you mentioned to be you wanted for the time being because I think I may just want to make a kid's book with artwork and stories in it with those pics. Anyway, just giving you a head's up!

Sure, no problem! I got the copies of your book, and they look wonderful. :) When I get the bookmarks and bookplates, I'll put 'em right up on the webpage.

(Do note: my exclusive agreement is for like products only, I don't mind if you use anything for a book if I'm selling cards, mousepads, etc. I'll just add 'no illustrations' to my contract page and we're golden.)

Thanks, only problem is I have to send the publisher the originals of my work because they are too large for me to scan and I want to make sure they have a prestine image. Once I get them back I will send them to you so you get the same perfect image, especially if you want to make t-shirts (i'd sure buy some). We got plenty of time though. It's busy for you right now and by the time I get this new book idea rolling and the thing published, it'll be a few months and by then maybe you'll be taking more submissions anyway so the pics. can be made into all other sorts of stuff too. But it'll be even greater if you could carry both the book and the original art. I will mention you in the dedication for that too. I think it'll be good business for both of us. I will be sending you the gryphon painting I did as a try-out for now on your web site, and one or two I don't intend to use in the art book (don't have a title yet). We'll see how it goes,but I think if it does go well you'll have lots of other artists wanting to give you originals and it could be a nice littleprofit making web page all it's own for you. I've seen you grow from having just a few artists to have a huge list, and now bigger and better talents, products, and designs. Who knows, you may have to hire help by next year...(winks)
