Work is going to be a bear today, I know it... Photoshop is hosing up all over the place, FOUR projects (including a colorboard) go out today (yah, right) and everyone's been pulling late hours all over the place, so we're all tired and a little punch drunk.

Woodworks February is out. Yay. *waves little flag*

Damn... progress bar on Photoshop has screeched to a halt. If I lost the changes I just made I'm going to scream.

(false alarm, *whew*)

Tonight, work late. It looks like we might not have to work this weekend if we make a big push today, which would be very nice, 'cause mostly weekend work isn't overtime if I end up taking a day or two off during the week (Week *starts* on Saturday, according to them). Tomorrow night is good hockey, so I'll work on EMG then. Sunday, either gaming or going to the Hot Springs to snowshoe and soak.

Cute shoes. Gotta think about the cute shoes. They make me happy! They also keep me from sitting on my foot, a very bad habit of mine, which is much better for my back.

Back starting to hurt. Probably I ought to stretch... I've been drafting like a madwoman all day and the computer's starting to feel like an extension of my fingers. Blech. But I am on the very last sheet of what looked like an insurmountable stack of redlines this morning. Colorboards off, Photoshop no longer dragging down my poor under-RAMmed computer. (Refrains from 'cheap bastards' comments regarding computer selection)

You know, between my three major email accounts, I think I get about 3 megs of spam every single day. Isn't that absurd? What a waste!

Almost done.... then I get to go home!! Home, you hear that? Maybe while it's still light!

Edit: Oh. There was another insurmountable pile of redlines on Jim's desk. Pfff....

ARGH

They want me to work this weekend.

Screw it.

I'm going home. It is 8 PM on a Friday night. I have worked 12 hours. I have worked 12 hours or more the last four nights. We didn't even order food tonight, so I am hungry, grumpy and feeling put out. I am tired and my brain is full. My eyes hurt and I haven't had art time since last weekend. They want me to come in tomorrow, but I have not committed.

Again I say, screw it. I am going to leave a note on my chair that says 'Call at your own risk. Calls before 11 AM will result in bodily harm.'

I don't think I've been home before 10 all week. I have borrowed Firefly DVDs and a sketchbook that I'm going to go reacquaint myself with, if I'm not too tired. I was too tired last night.

:)

Art makes everything better. Two episodes of Firefly, some cat time and some sketch time makes happy Ellen.
