Boo, work

I'm looking at what I have to do in the next few weeks and feeling like my vacation is coming to a close WAY too early. I HAVE managed to build a print services upload page at the EMG backend, and I'm working on the management tools for it today. Probably because I know I should be doing other things:

~ Pay artists. (quakes in fear - lots of records to go over, more wholesale orders than last year, and LOTS more artists.)
~ Pay bills.
~ Feel Poor.

~ Answer some critical emails. (I've been SO SO SO bad about replying that last few weeks)
~ Post Jan news to EMG forum
~ Announce new issue of EMG-Zine
~ Announce EMG artist hosting opportunity
~ Work more on print services end of things.
~ Start feeling around for some more coding/webpage job things. More fun than drafting.

I'm surprised, looking back at my list of goals, by how much freaking coding I'm going to be doing. How has this eaten my life so thoroughly? But it's so NECESSARY. I'm glad I'm learning how to do all this myself.

Velcro thinks my velor dance pants are the bestest thing ever and is purring in my lap or I would go find food now...

I'm about 40% through the manual parts of artist pay, and stopping for the evening. Math is hard! Let's go shopping...

Got a good start on my list of things to do, at least. Some emails dealt with, inbox down to 150 again. Some coding done. Lots of artist pay. An episode of Lost.

All I REALLY want to do is sit around and work on Torn World all day. It's eating my BRAIN! Why should I be doing math when I've got a revolution to plan and a paper mill to blow up? I've got more awesome site features to add... how come I gotta answer emails and code on other boring sites?

Proofs for the EMG-Zine anthology are in and look HOT. Best one yet! Gotta call and get my credit card set up with them, find out the ship date, and then we'll have pre-order! Woo!
