No more money drain...

My steely capitalist eye turned to EMG-Zine this weekend, and I started poking and prodding. Two things are happening:

1. There's a deadline. If we haven't made $900 (half a year's operating expense) in subscription and anthology sales by June 31, 2011, I am officially declaring December's issue as our last and ending the thing. That doesn't actually cover the costs, since there is a certain amount of expense integral in both subscriptions and sales, but I am willing to foot some of that. I'm just not willing to keep bleeding money at the project now that I can't consider it 'advertising' for my greater money-making project(s).

2. There will be a limit to how many articles you can view, either as unregistered, or as unsubscribed, per day. I need to untangle the article page a little further, but I've got a solid start on this already...
