ellenmillion: (ellen with wrench)
It sort of occurred to me that some of the warnings about fairy/fantasy licensing companies that have been going around are vague enough that they might sound like me... I hope no one thinks they are. I don't license much anymore (just publications, really), but I always tried to be fair and upfront in my business dealings. Some of my artists went off to greener pastures and better deals, and there are always a few folks that get in a twist about rejections, but I don't think anyone ever felt like I went out of my way to screw them. (If so, I'd like to know! That chapter is closed, but that doesn't mean I'm not still learning from it...)

Working on improvements to the artist pages at Sketch Fest. It's better, but there's something wonky with the dates that I'm chewing my lip over how to fix. Hmm. HMM. Oh! Here we go... http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/sketchfestartist.php?id=9 (It still needs some layout polish, but it's functional now - that was the priority... and what the funded budget covered.)

Some programming for a client today, and then it's off to search for some more work. Anyone need some programming done? Need a website? Editing? Write you a story? Draw you a picture? What can I do for you? (Building a baby isn't paying well, by itself...)

Watching the nephews today, as well. Velcro and especially Norway are enjoying the extra company. May have to kick all but the cat outside shortly - it's a lovely day.
