I've got that *thing.*

You know, that *thing* where you get sort of frozen by the sheer mass of the tasks ahead of you and you can't actually do any of them?

I've got that.

I feel all urky still... skipped coffee this morning in favor of herbal tea and some pepto. Bleh.

Slept poorly.

Dreamt I spread butter all over my tablet to improve conductivity.

Yes yes yes! I know that *thing* VERY well! It's been perching on my shoulder for the last couple months, whispering in my ear a constant litany of all the artistic projects I want to do but haven't even -begun- due to cost of canvasses, artistic impotence (yanno, shriveling at the sheer desire to do something wonderful and fearing it'll turn out a mess), and being overwhelmed!

@_@

*wince* Yes, I had that once... while I was driving. That was a thrilling experience.

Start with the kitchen.

Well, metaphorically, anyway. It's always best to pick one (smallish, if possible) room, and start cleaning there. So pick one small task and do *it* and don't worry about the rest. *hugs* You'll make it!

*hugs* You can do it! You know that whole Anne Lammott mantre - "Take it bird by bird..." and "Put one word in front of the other..."

Friends are so comforting with completely unreasonable advice, aren't we? :D Regardless, I expect to see you on the other side of this in a month, saying, "Ha! I finished it all! There's no such thing as not enough time!" Because you always seem to come through with your goals. You're kind of amazing like that.

Yar. I have that 'thing' constantly this month. I'll probably have it the rest of the semester. Won't bore you with my tasks that loom, but at least you'll have someone on your buddy list who's got an ulcer too. :)

It's probably trite and all, but the lyrics: Que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be, the future's not our's to see... que sera, sera. What will be, will be. ..... erm. help me not panic so much. :P
