Hey folks! Today is the deadline for January issue EMG-Zine material!!

You may request an extension, if you need one, but I need to know what I've got to work with asap!

If you have phoenix-themed artwork, I encourage you to submit it! For the gallery, I am not insisting on exclusive work; it can be previously published! I would prefer non-published tutorials and walk-throughs - if you have one in-progress that will be finished within a week, let me know!

Use the form here to get specific submission info: http://www.emg-zine.com

Too many exclaimation points!!

I have a Phoenix image that I would submit, but I just don't think I understand the rules. Since I would only be submitting one piece of artwork, I don't understand how the "Gory Details" part applies. If I submit the artwork to you, I cannot submit it for publication elsewhere? I don't understand much of what is included in that section. I can understand rights on articles and such since you don't want to see the same article all over the place, but does the same apply to art?

Ah - no, I need to go clarify that asap - there are no restrictions on the artwork! They can be previously published pieces!

Man, if the deadline were a little later... I have two phoenix pieces I'm working on, but they won't be done until the end of December.

Is today the latest you'd be able to take artwork from someone popping out of nowhere? ^^; I realised it seriously late, but I do have something fit to finish and submit if I'm able to make it. Or would something uncertain just be more work for you?

If you think you can finish in a week or less, you can request an extension. :) I know that folks are scrambling, and the first issue has sort of crept up on us.

They were commissions, and the commissioner extended my deadline to allow for my indifferent health this Fall. On my original deadline I would have had them done already. Now I'm kicking myself! Dagnabbit... I just don't think I can finish them soon enough. If I do, I'll be sure to let you know.

I should be able to do that yes :)

Do I make a submission at the contact form with my extension request there, or?

Yes please! That'll keep me organized (or that's the hope, anyway...).

Well, there's no way I can get art done for this 'zine but I could start something for the febuary one. Can you drop hints as to the possible theme?

Sure! February is romance and March is Celtic Fae.

I hope to get future themes finalized shortly...

Ah! That's helpful! I had a piece I liked but didn't think fit for PA or EMG... gives me an excuse to work on it for Feb. :)
