Busy, busy..
Apr. 24th, 2006 10:52 amTightly packed morning so far, and the day looks to not ease up any.
It snowed over the weekend - another 3-4 inches of wet goopy snow Saturday night, and was warm enough Sunday afternoon that I sat on the porch with Norway in short sleeves brushing him. I have some photos! Jake and went for a very nice, long walk Sunday morning - it was melting really fast, and walking under some of the trees was like dodging sprinklers. Gorgeous walk. Really gorgeous walk.
I have an interview to do for an on line magazine this week, and got an illustration gig from a portfolio I sent out - literally! - 5 years ago. Not much of a gig, just $10, but the exposure in this one has always been pretty sweet, and I like working with this editor a lot, so I'll do it. I've done illustrations for him before, but years ago - I hope I can impress him with how much I've improved. Might be time to send some updated porfolios out, though for the most part, I'm not really keen on the traditional freelance illustration stuff. Monsters. Woo.
Ordered window cling to fill an order with - that may be a spiff new EMG product if it works out well. We'll see. Got another order to place (t-shirts), and orders to fill before lunch still!

Matt's bike, covered in snow.

Sun shining through the snow. Much of the snow was gone by mid-day.

This is actually an older photo, not this snow storm, but definite proof that snow does not bother my puppy in the slightest. He loves it and will actively seek out snowbanks to stick his face into.

I love everything in it - even the grab-bag stuff - you chose so well for me!! I'm sure my nephew will loooooovvvvvve the card-playin' dragon hoodie - I described it to him and he loved it!
