ellenmillionWoot! Made my wordcount plus a few today, and am officially ahead of my schedule by about a thousand words. Which isn't even a day's worth, but hey. I like what I wrote. Conversations that you can only understand half of are fun to write, and Malaamig's headspace is interesting to be in and great for explaining things from since he's new to these parts, too. I like his POV. And hey! My characters finally get descriptions! And yes, someone went to the bathroom!

As for me, I'm writing in the future of my world! My poor poor characters...I feel really sorry for the one because he is one of my favorites.*sigh* No one should have to go through something like that...
Oh, this reminds me that I was reading the fantasy section in the NaNo forums and there is one on names, and which ones people hate. Theykept saying "real world names, like Michael and John" but when you wrote "Ann" in your story I thought nothing of it. You should read that thread I was falmost falling out of the chair laughing at points. :)
I noticed, when I was writing a scene where they had to interact, that two of my characters have very similar kinds of names, Gerran and Keelan. Argh. They are father and son, too. I was thinking of renaming the father Garrett. I have a "Sayra" floating around, gotta get a different name for her, luckily I haven't really written about her.
