"Why do people keep insisting I'm successful?" I asked Jake a few days back. I think it was following my e-Interview thingy with Time of the Faeries.
"Aren't you?" he asked me back.
"I had to get a day job," I reminded him. "EMG doesn't really make any money. How is that successful?"
He thought about it a moment or two, and finally said, "Because you've been around so long and you have a good reputation, because you move a lot of product, and because you like what you do."
I don't know if that makes 'success,' but it felt good to hear.
