That's the area I live in. Really, really close to my house.

Norway will be spending some days inside, perhaps? I have verified the location of my pistol and loaded it. I'm going to go kiss my indoor toilet. I would hate to be making outhouse visits right now...

Ooooo I luv wolfies! I know, I know, it's different when they're wild... and hungry...and you're way out in the woods.
Civilization? Just because you have an indoor bathroom?? LOL
(Kidding!!)

I was expecting a small dog and thinking "Geez, Ellen, how scary can it be?". Good. Freaking. Lord. It attacked and scared the crap out of a 90lb dog? Hell yes, yay for indoor toilets. Please be careful! I love wolves, but I'd shoot one trying to hurt my dog or me.

But hey, at least its not a bear... right?

that.... terrifies me. I've always been afraid of wolves, and big dogs. That's so scary, Ellen! You are very brave for not freaking out.

Wow. Yeah, I hope you guys stay safe up there. No wolves down here, but we do have a problem with coyotes coming into the city. One of my friends keeps all her cats inside, just to be on the safe side. Civilization is all relative, I suppose... :)

I definitely hope you and your pup stays safe.

It makes me kind of sad, really, because I imagine wolves wouldn't go after dogs unless they were having problems finding their own food sources (which are usually depleted by humans to begin with). That, and I'm sure this is only fueling the aerial hunting fires.

Hey now, down in DC we have coyotes attacking dogs being walked by their owners. Granted, they are small dogs, but then it is a coyote.
