Some reminders!

SUNDAY is the deadline for calendar submissions for our EMG group calendar. If you're working on something but may not have it finished in time, you may request an extension. I will need to see your work in progress and get a realistic estimation for when you will finish. The theme is 'babies.' The work does not have to be new for this project, or exclusive. There is no limit to how many you may submit.

Our August theme for EMG-zine is 'muses.' Do you have a muse whispering ideas in your ear (or possibly brandishing a leather whip or poking you with pins)? Depictions of traditional mythological muses also welcome! http://emg-zine.com/submitart.php or http://emg-zine.com/guidelines.php

Oh, and a couple of you asked what $18,000 toy I was currently drooling over: a direct-to-garment printer. They look juicy, and would make better shirts than the shirts I carry now, as well as be more cost competitive. But with $18,000 in capital required... unlikely to happen for a while. A good long while. Maybe when I win the lottery.

Also - the phlegm resistance has regathered it's forces and is attempting to defeat the death star that is my head by exploding my sinuses. Ow. *whimpers*

Damn, what a toy! I'd love to have one of those too (as well as an embroidery machine) but like you, I can't fit the bill. Ahh, here's to wishful thinking, huh?
