*hugs* Thank you for all the birthday wishes. :) I had a bee-ootiful weekend, went canoeing on Monday and have been paying for my exuberance since, but the pain wasn't enough to completely dent the day. I spent much of the day doing laundry and cleaning up EMG's computer, which isn't the most thrilling way to spend the day, but it wasn't *all* work, and it wasn't the day job, so no complaints. I also now own both argyle and zebra-striped tights, so life can't be bad. I have some pictures I can upload tonight if I remember. And I have cool toys. :)

Downloaded a MahJong clone for my Palm yesterday, but was rather disappointed. It was a 2-d version and figuring out the rules took more time than figuring out a technique for beating it every time. Poo. I'll have the find a 3-d version and put that on. Speaking of, does anyone have a good ebook site to recommend that supports Palm OS? Maybe a site I could find Good Omens on?

My standards... they may be just a touch too demanding. I expect people to do the best that they can at every possible moment in their lives. That takes a lot of energy, and you know, most people don't want to be that careful all the time. I need to be more understanding of that, and less judgmental. I'm sure not perfect.

I don't want to look at my May to-do list. It's scary. I don't want to make a to-do list for June, either. I just want to float through the month in blissful oblivion of all the projects I've committed to.

Got more webwork done, which is nice. Compiling a verrrry long list of images I want to re-create. I had no idea what I was doing when I started my webpage, and many of the older images show it. That's no good. The stationery details are particularly poor, and I think there ought to be print details available, too. I can already see that this is going to be one of those things that I can do endless... wait! sempiternal work on. I've got to prod myself to just move along and come back to that stuff once I've got the webpage current and running smoothly. I've made do with these images this long, hopefully it's not turning too many people away at this point.

Jake and I are taking an extra day off of work this weekend to work on the house, at long, long last. Woot! Muuuust work on house. Muuuust work on business. Muuuust work. Lazy gland on overdrive.

Haven't been keeping up with drawing every day since last weekend, stuck on the couch with a sore back and distracted by my new toy, but I did get lots of art in on Sunday. Sappy Resla/D'zan pictures (my secret vice...), and some doodles that I need to post for Ciri. I do manage to write when I don't get to art, though, and I did somehow get the outline for a series of short novels done. Heaven knows if I'll get them written, but the outlines are intriguing. Portable magical writing tool!!! Woot!
