November plans

At some point this morning, I realized that I have two of my weeks off in November. And that I'm only working a max of four days the first two weeks.

I'M DOING NANOWRIMO! And this year, I WILL WIN.

I had decided I shouldn't, because I have so much to catch up on (Anthology, coloring books, TMAS), and because I've failed miserable for years in a row (which is demoralizing)... but without work to eat up my time, I see no reason I can't do this ALL.

Horray!

Today I have to:

Pay bills (!!!!)
Order yellow toner for printer (!!)
EMG-Zine stuf (!!!)
Email Joyce about bollywood tonight and about bellydance lessons (yay!)
Work.

I drove to work at dawn. This isn't as impressive as it sounds, as dawn is about 8:30 - 9:30 right now. It was gorgeous, though - really brilliant orange over the mountain range.

I dressed up for halloween! It's vaguely steampunk, 'cause that's what I had handy. It's my awesome 40s-style retro dress, black heeled boots, and flip-up goggles, as well as the clockwork necklace Cait made me. My hair is in pigtails, and I look a lot like this:



My hair is barely, barely, barely long enough.

Good luck with the Nano! *Don't feel bad about previous years ... I've attempted this twice so far and no dice ... usually due to the fact Nov is when I end up getting a horrible Winter Cold of some sort that turns into Bronchitis* I'm giving it a go again this year. Are you on the Nano website? *Can I friend you there?
