Women are waves

Okay, I'm a wave, at least.

I was griping this morning (it's easy to gripe in the morning) to Jake about being plain and too skinny and too flaky and scattered and unorganized. This afternoon, I'll probably feel all puffed up with myself and feel smart and pretty.

On Tuesday, I was drowning in self-pity. On Wednesday, I thought I had the best life in the world. On Thursday... well, it's too early to tell yet.

One day I'm completely motivated and dedicated and full of creative energy, the next I don't even want to draw.

Is this a 'me' thing? Should I seek professional help? Or do you notice the same thing in yourselves? Is it a woman-thing? What about you guys out there?

I know there are lots of days when all I want to do is curl up and sleep, and then there are lots of days when I'm just dying to power up the computer and get a story out of my head. And I know that I have lots of friends like that, a few of them are male. So, maybe its an everyone thing... And I think artistic people are more affected by this type of thing, but that's only my opinion. :)

I think between being female and artsy, you're doomed. :-)

I tend to flip-flop myself, but I usually ignore most of it. When I'm at work, I want to draw in the worst way. Once I get home, I end up doing chores and not drawing. Then I whine about how I never draw. Half the time I'm convinced I'm an idiot, and the rest of the time I'm smug because I think I did something clever.

*shrug* If you seek help, you mind sending me a few tips?
