Merry Monday!
Jun. 1st, 2009 11:50 amGood monday to you!
I have a new issue of EMG-Zine up today! This makes issue #30. We're also accepting work in the theme of 'Alice in Wonderland' until midnight tonight, and the guidelines have been freshly updated: http://emg-zine.com/guidelines.php Send me your Alices and Cheshires and Mad Hatters!
Got through a bunch of orders this weekend, and will be hitting the heatpress tonight to finish up this batch. Sold out of wallets!
There is a gigantic hole in the wall of my studio, in preparation for a new window. We're installing three new windows total, in anticipation of siding our house this summer. It needs it. Badly. The ugly, it hurts, right now. And it will be nice to have larger windows - very nice - and it makes the studio into an actual factual second bedroom all legal like. It's amazing how much nicer it's going to be in the studio with the larger window, too. Even with the plastic-covered hole for now, it's letting in SO much more light.
And, a short poll:
[Poll #1409422]
I will be posting new fiction material once a week for Torn World, and I'm just curious about what day of the week I should be aiming for. City of Lights progresses. I'd like to be done by Friday.
More close-by earthquakes, you may note from my Twitter feed. Last night's was the largest (3.98) and longest yet - it wiggled weakly for a long while after the rattling was done. The dog is not pleased by these and finds them very unsettling and wants to go hide in his doghouse. Velcro doesn't care. Neither pet has given us any warning of them.
Workstuff, some webwork, working out, and then EMG orders. Work, work, work!
