Got some Torn World stuff done - we're about ready for character creation to start in earnest and I updated the CIS page and updated the LJ and forum with the contest results!

I'm pondering NaNoWriMo. I've lost as many years in a row as they've been doing it. I am just not suited for the 50K slog and November is a wretched month for it. I may try again anyway, just to get some writing in.

No artwork or writing to show for today.

Planning

Plllleeeease let the last Avatar disc be at the post office. I am dying to find out how this ends! I have some orders to do this weekend, gaming on Sunday, and Monday off of work. We'll probably work on the house - if it's nice, we may paint. I also have several art projects in progress that I'd like to make inroads on, and some major coding projects, as well.

I've never 'won' NaNo either. Though I've written the last two years. I have this horrendous habit of somehow catching something icky and getting very sick at some point every November ... and then I focus on getting well again and by then i've lost about a week of writing time. And I can never catch up to wherever it is I need to be.

Yeah, I wish NaNo wasn't in November- it's too close to the holidays, and I always have too many other things going on and things to do. Really, *any* of the other 30 day months would work much better...

I don't know if I am going to be able to do NaNo WriMo this year... it is amazing how much time 40 hours of full time job takes up, and how tired I am from all the biking getting to and from said job. I know excuses excuses. Mainly I don't have any particularly good ideas for a story, and I don't think I can get 50,000 more words for the one I have been working on for the last three years, in different segments of course... I really like writing though. Now it is time to go to said job. :p
