I agree with the other comments. Love the background, and the little dragon, and the nice use of contrast that directs the viewer's eye. Really like the hair and the hair sticks as well. Lots of nice textures in this!
I do think that maybe adding some details to her costume would be a nice touch. Like maybe some embroidery or trim or decoration to the front of her dress? It seems plain, when the rest of the drawing is so busy and detailed. A little something would break up that open space and make it more interesting.
I agree with the addition of some embellishment in terms of making the picture better... problem being that this particular character is a salt-of-the-earth type, and wears painfully practical clothing. Otherwise, I would agree completely; some decoration would make this much better!
Oooooh. This is nice.... ^_^ The only thing that catches my eye as being slightly awkward is the shading on the lower half of the face. Other than that, I love how everything fits together, foreground, background, figure, vegetation. :>
