My sympathies on the ultrasound. I had one a few years back (not for a joyous reason, either) and they hit jUST the WRONG SPOT. And I so could have kicked the tech in the face - not out of malice but more of a knee-jerk reaction to PAIN.

Hope the results you get give you answers you need for whatever it is.
