Next Sketch Fest?

Oh! I just got asked about the next one. Now, next month is NaNoWriMo, and I know a lot of people are doing that... I, for one, will be spending that time writing like a mad, writing, fool. Who's up for a Sketch Fest? When would you want it? I don't mind running it if folks want to participate, but if we'll all be writing instead, maybe we could do two in December or something? (It would be like Christmas... oh, wait!)

Also, I will be closing the EMGlivejournal - it was lovely, but I forgot that it wasn't *paid*, and it looks wretched with those ads if you aren't logged in to a paid account. Who needs that? If you want EMG news, follow me here! Or at Facebook. Or at Twitter. Or at the EMG site. Or by email list...

Anyway, let me know your thoughts on the next Sketch Fest, any of these places.

November is dreaded exams month, so it is 50:50 whether I would be too stressed to participate or would sketch up a storm to distract me from up coming exams lol. Would be happy to do two in December because I would be on holidays yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could go either way. I'm not really a writer, so no NaNoWriMo for me, but I had been thinking of skipping (or participating very minimally in) the next Sketchfest anyways. Nothing wrong on your end, I've just been feeling kinda blah about sketching lately, and want to work on some other projects (maybe actually *finish* some things). If it happens, I'd probably do a sketch or two, if not, it's no big deal.

It very largely depends on my Internet connection for me. I've been exhausted fighting with it and have no idea when it will get better. Probably the later the better for me though.

I'd like to have a Sketch Fest in November... But one near the start of December and one near the eend wouldn't be too bad.

Ah, one thing I keep forgetting: I'm in several fantasy-themed communities on deviantart; what do you think of me handing them the link to Sketch Fest (once the next date is set) on a "here, maybe you could mention this in a blog entry, since it might interest your members"-basis? It might bring in new participants... and it might be really A LOT, if a big community agrees.

That is an awesome idea, I post it on PA's DA page (which I have otherwise sadly neglected, really need to do more art updates..), but a bigger community exposure would be awesome!

I'm really up for anything:) I am moving in November though but not until the end so I'd still be in if it was the middle of Nov, otherwise yeah:) 2 in December sounds like lots o fun! it'll give me an excuse to stop unpacking:D!!

I can do it just about any time too, and I need it this month as my youngest will be going into a new program, at a new school on a new bus and I know he will be very unhappy at first soooo it will be a bit stressful around here and drawing makes me relaxed:}

I'm doing NaNo, although I'm sticking to a daily word count of 2 k per day, so that I'll have time for other things like chores and stuff.

I'd love to do a Nov Sketchfest (maybe incoporate NaNo w/ Nano 1500 word exceprts? Or character descriptions?)

However knowing how much headache it can be, and how tight things get for those who work retail (Black Friday) it may be better to wait until Dec.

I'm game for either. It was this project/event that helped me get back into the swing of things, I want to see it continue!
