I think I'm developing phone-ear. It sort of rings by the time I'm done talking with insurance companies and the body shop, and FedEx and Harry and Davids (WHY are you shipping our perishable fruit FedEx to a PO Box?!) and all the many places that need phone calls today. *hates phones*

Parts are on order, and I can get a rental car if I need it, though it only covers $30/day, and I'm not sure I can get a 4WD for that price, so we'd have to pay the difference. So, Jake and I may carpool for a bit. Poor Norway will not enjoy going to his Good Canine Citizen test in the back of the truck next weekend, but so be it.

Novel continues to go forward, if a little slower than my 2-day, 12k marathon over the weekend. I've hit a very different section, with new characters and a much, much darker tone, and I'm picking along a little more slowly, making sure that I'm still going in the general direction I need to be. I woke up this morning with new ideas (refinements and solutions to tangles) in my brain, and I'm going to jam for 30 minutes and see how much of it I can get down before I have to go do coding things that I need to do to pay ye olde bills.
