Why isn't it 5 yet?

We bought a TV yesterday. Woops! It was used, and what a screaming deal. $100. $90 bought my parents a teensy little thing about a foot wide with a crappy little imbedded vcr at Sam's Club. $10 more bought us a nearly-new 27" behemoth and a gorgeous little Ethan Allen wooden end table, which was probably worth $100 all by itself (not that I would pay for $100 something that can be duplicated with milkcrates...). Futurama is billboard sized. Babylon 5 is in our living room. It ROCKS. I wish I were at home watching Babylon 5 now... I hadn't seen any of the first season, and I'm enjoying the heck out of 'em.

Jake has tomorrow off, the unspeakable little so-and-so. I'm always jealous because his days off are actually that. Days off. My days off are EMG days, and running around days, and catch-up days.

ARGH! Three more hours of work.

Hey I just think it's fair... does he expect to just sit pretty, drink beer and watch football/hockey, while you run around frazzled? No way!! Find something for him to do, like maybe complete the house? XD XD XD

I love B5...I want to get a DVD player, so I can watch it in nice pretty format, instead of taped off broadcast network in Fairbanks, with mediocre reception!

The old saying a womans work is never done is still so true today.. Men get up and go to wwork, then come home and the dinner is ready, but a woman gets up, takes the kids to school, goes to work, comes home, organises the kids, make dinner, does the household cleaning(if she's not too tired)(swap that one with checks out the internet, email, various communities).. watches a smidgen of telly, puts the washing on for the next day, does some reading/arting/writing, puts the cats out, flops into bed. The husband is then waiting for a bit more, the wife is too knackered! *lol* *wink* :D :)
