Flu shot side effects...

I've had two or three flu shots before, and no symptoms whatsoever from them.

This time? I started coughing a few hours later, a miserable, cloggy, awful cough that fortunately went away within a few hours. I'm still wicked hoarse and my throat is a bit sore from the coughs, though I don't have any other problems... and the literature says mild side effects like this usually start shortly after the shot and last 1-2 days. Blech. Do not like.

Taking the morning off (massage!) and have many grand plans for the afternoon that may or may not happen.

I've never had a flu shot before and only had the flu once. Was out of work for two days, and this was only a month or so after I had started!!!

I am glad the cough went away, can you have chamomile tea with honey? that soothes the throat. I like "Sleepy Time" tea. I think liquorice tea soothes as well.
