Merry Christmas!

It's still Christmas here, so let me extend warm wishes of the holiday before it gets away from me.

I had a lovely Christmas eve, mostly spent with my sister and her boys. I got to see the nephews perform, and my sister in the bell choir, plus have dinner with them. Yoga was delightful, too.

Christmas itself was lowkey and quiet... Reindeer casserole, of course! (my mother-in-law is already worried we're going to scar Elsa with our irreverent sense of humor... :P) I got Jake some ipad accessories and a backgammon board, he got me a ipod nano and a rolling pin and silicone mat, which I used this morning to make cinnamom rolls. We may watch a movie now. And maybe bake cookies!

And yes, Guppy's name is Elsa, jury still out on the middle name. I typed it out in my last post, caught it, and decided to see who was paying attention. :)

I really hope you all are having a lovely holiday, whichever ones you are celebrating.

I am assuming that you have noticed the similarity to your own name, but must point it out because my sister never noticed (even though I DID point it out to her at one point, but she obviously does not listen to me) that Katie and Kaeli sound a lot alike and finds it a source of mild frustration. That out of the way...

I had noticed, but it's definitely worth pointing out. Jake did not notice it at first, either, though I also mentioned it to him. We're going for a very different middle name, in part for that reason.

I am getting caught up on stuff, I started with your older posts. Glad you are feeling better (I agree about Christmas shopping), and I bet you are happy you can now use Elsa's name in your posts! I caught it right away. :D I'll still think of her as "Guppy" though! ♥ :)
