Guppy is teething with a vengeance... she's been up four nights this week, and four times last night alone. We made a first care visit on Wednesday night with a high fever and spectacular vomiting (don't worry, clean bill of health - they took blood, did labs, and gave her a dose of Tylenol and the fever was completely gone the next morning, she's got PLENTY of energy, and the vomiting was just one particularly showy display. No sign of ear infection, which they thought was likely), she's been drooling like a moat monster. She also has a perfectly functional memory. When we went back for a follow-up the next day, she was cheerful and happy - until the same doctor we'd seen the night before came in. Her eyes opened wide in horror, she flung her Mum Mum away and turned to me with grabby hands, wailing at the top of her lungs. She did not let up, release her deathgrip or so much as pause for breath until he left the room, and was then completely quiet again.
Alright, more coffee or a nap, now. And maybe a sketch, if I go the coffee route. I'm thinking about doing a big painting...
