what's this for again? the font isn't very readable against that background.. you might want to darken it slightly.. and the images could be a bit larger (the ones on the side) if it's going to be sitting in that large of a banner..
the attention needs to go on the writing, not the background, which in my opinion is too busy for someone just glancing at it.
The ad will actually be constrained by columns on both sides; it's supposed to be able to squish down to 500 pixels, hence the teensy side images. When it's full page like this, it looks a bit stretched, but the final presentation shouldn't look like that on anyone's screen.
I think I will go ahead and darken the background and de-contrast the dragon a little; it is detracting from the text. I'll have to resample the gif tomorrow and send in both images for replacement.
