Mondaily - Kickstarter Update

70 hours (less than 3 days!) to go on my Kickstarter! Ee! We are $70 from publishing *Asterix, and I am eyeing our 1000% level with some hope. Kicktraq says it's not probable, but oh, sooooo close. I confess, I was hoping it would be a unique enough project to attract a Staff Pick, but I feel like we've done *remarkably* well without one. I find it particularly encouraging that nearly 2/3 of my backers have come from within Kickstarter - people who *don't* already follow and know me think the project is worth their money! That's highly encouraging to me.

Here are the two pieces I'm drafting as stretch goals that we've already made:





Any name suggestions for the second?? I'm totally drawing a blank.

Those are gorgeous!

The only name that comes to mind for the second piece is "Sweet Reunion". I'm not even sure why, but that's what it says to me.

That first one is crazy full of details.

To be unhelpful, for the second, "Pondscape with mermaid and unicorn". Or "At the willow's feet". :) Too literal-minded ...

This is what popped into my head: "Help, I've fallen and can't get up" ...(I always feel guilty making fun of that commercial because it is a serious issue, but the acting was just so terrible...)

maybe "Down by the Pond" or creek?, "The Drinkin' Hole", "The Swimmin' Hole", "500 Turtles!" "Splish Splash", "Where is my Newspaper?"

P.S. I'm a child of the '80s, so I sorta feel obligated to also make fun of that commercial. Although I also fully acknowledge it's a serious issue, and one I worry about daily.

I shall note that I pledged tonight, and will show up as an "outside" pledge since I went to your Kickstarter from LJ a few weeks ago and bookmarked it to come back to later and pledge. So thus I did, but your tracker thinks I loaded the page directly from Yahoo or something...
