Guppy is upstairs making perfectly happy 'don't-want-to-sleep-can't-make-me' noises. She woke up when we did this morning, so she really is ready for a nap, she just doesn't know it yet. We went out to do weekend shopping and she was adorable and social.

Well, yes, but you also trade a small child tugging at you much of the time for attacks of the sudden sinking feeling of "it has been suspiciously quiet for rather a long time ... what has she gotten into?"
