I saw a sun dog on the way into town today. That, of itself, is not particularly unusual, but this was a pretty amazing light show - giant pillars of rainbow light on either side of the sun. It didn't last long, but it was neat to see, and I didn't QUITE blind myself squinting into the sun as I was trying to drive.

Another modest pile of coloring books are ready to go out, and a bag shipped out this morning, as well. Updated Torn World, and went shopping. I had half-planned to take Guppy somewhere with kids, but we had some serious intractability issues at the post office, so we cut that short and headed home for an early lunch and nap - from which I am thinking I will actually have to wake her up very soon.

(Wake up accomplished, reluctantly. I called up, "Guppy, it's time to wake up." Answer: "No, it isn't.")

And yes, I voted today, too.

I need to set the date for the November Sketch Fest - I would if it would work to have it Thanksgiving weekend?

I have a deep, impractical urge to paint. With paints.
