Have you missed some of my creative updates over the last month? I'm doing monthly roundups to try to keep some sense in the chaos!

None posted. Not even any blogging!

This was a very sparse month - in no small part because I was on Internet hiatus... while traveling many thousand miles with a two-year-old to spend Christmas in Costa Rica! I posted no photos during this time, but here's one of the favorites of mine from this month:



I did no writing and just one (Sketch Tarot) sketch, all month, but I did read nine books by the pool, and play on beaches, and visit SeaWorld in Orlando.

It's a few hours off of New Year's here, but I'm horrifically jet-lagged (and fighting a headcold), so I'm toasting in Costa Rica time and heading for bed. I'm hoping you all had beautiful, warm, happy holidays, and I'll catch you next year with more stories and photos and creative joy.

Art and photos will be back on Monday, I hope. She had a great time, I think. I do wonder how much she will remember when she grows up - she's not three yet, so I don't know how much it will stay with her! But for now, she remembers lots of parts of it!

Having the photos will help with the memories. It's great we live in a digital age and can take all the pictures we want. When I was growing up, it was the film age and then the cost of developing them, so not that many pictures.
