Tuesdaily with Guppy Faces.
Feb. 10th, 2015 02:42 pm"I'm smiling!" she told me, in case I couldn't tell.

"I don't have to smile," she told me later. "I'm going to Beaker Face."
And she tried, very, very hard, to make Beaker Face on demand:

This one got pretty close:

We went outside today and went sledding down the driveway, walked to the trail and back, and also did some reading, but since she insisted I read her Papa's book (a political thriller. No pictures. Shamelessly stolen from the bedroom.), I don't know how much of it she actually absorbed.
I have done many bits of programming in fits and starts the last few days, and also colored three portrait adoption pieces, so not doing too shabby. I think I need some writing time, though - I have stories to tell that are not getting told, and that's bad for the brain.
(And yes, although she has buckets of wonderful toys, she is indeed playing in our wood pile and ordering our kindling.)
