Plea!!!

I need a good photo, or sketch, or reference of any kind of English lavendar. Does anyone have such an animal? All of the searches I've tried have resulted in itsy-bitsy grainy photos that I'm not able to get enough detail out of (and lots of lavendar-scented/flavored/colored things for sale). I'm plant illiterate to begin with (unless it grows up here), so I'm working with a handicap. It apparently has to be English lavendar, too. Very specific about that.

Please, please, please, anything you've got will help!

This one's a little blurry, but nice and big. (http://www.oardc.ohio-state.edu/beelab/garden/plants/english.html) It's a university website, too, so they probably know their lavenders.

Here are a bunch of varieties. (http://www.aheb.com/garden/lavender/angustifolia.html) I'm not sure if any would be considered typical though.

Oh, dear...I've got a few Lavandula angustifolia (English Lavender) around in the garden, but they're not currently in bloom, and I imagine you'll want something with the flowers present? Also, there are about 40 different cultivars of English Lavender (Lady, Munstead, Hidcote, etc.), each having variations in flower colour, leaf shape, bushing habit, and so forth; so there's a lot of variety there! Now, if you needed a good shot of a periwinkle bloom, I could help you there - we found a huge peri bloom in the UK and got a couple of good shots of it, and my peris are currently doing their last blooming bit before winter!

Have you tried Corbis or Getty? I use them when I need photo references for difficult poses and the like.

Alas, I have it not, but may I just say that using 'such an animal' while discussing plants is a bit O.o worthy?
