Mondaily with new art,

ellenmillionSix packages off in the mail this morning, plus nearly 1000 words written, artwork scanned, emails sent, and two loads of laundry in various stages of finished. I LOVE HAVING CHILDCARE! Guppy is upstairs completely conked out from playing now, and my house somehow looks less post-toddler-tsunami than usual.

I finished another sea monster this weekend and worked on two others, and we got some progress on the bathroom, which is super nice. This was after taking all of Saturday off, too, because I did some unfortunate panicked-Mom-induced sprinting on Thursday. I figured I had escaped consequences because my back didn't hurt at all on Friday, but I was really gimpy on Saturday, so I took it easy and pouted in my chair most of the day.
I'm going to unwind now, and do some art, and bask in the cat-purring. Maybe with chocolate.
