Yes, I called the other one swirly 1. This is /really/ the first one I did. Had to stitch it. :(



Only these first two pieces had the straight lines... I couldn't decide whether I liked them or not. This one wasn't straight enough for me. I appreciated the feedback on the other one, btw... and always do. :) Fun with paint!

I see a swan and a yinyan : ) or a swan with yinyan wings?
I like it but I do think the line doesn't fit the rest of the picture.

this one is a much stronger piece.. the colors have a definite flow, much like a composer whose baton/wand seems to lift the music from the instruments before her. The line fits quite well, I think.. it is what makes this piece more than just a plop of blended colors. I wouldn't change the line.. Perhaps the only thing that might need more tending to is the green ribbon-like stroke at the bottom left.. it leaves the feeling of being sorely underdeveloped in comparison to the rest of the painting. I love the teardrop curl of white in the center and the colors blossoming around it. I imagine that this painting shimmers more in true light than this monitor can reveal. Nice work =)
