Swayed by your Wacom delight, I have decided patience is good, and instead bought the worlds tiniest mouse, which works great! Has a cool retractable cord thingy, too.

Now I have software questions!

I need an ftp program and a chat program (preferably free). Any suggestions? And/or suggested place for download?

I'm having Issues, and it occurs to me that they may be inter-related.

A) FTP keeps hosing up. This is the second program that will start a transfer and then decide it doesn't like the transfer. It craps out at either 2650 b or 0. Moving around in folders works great at first, but after trying to transfer, it tends to freeze up. Also hoses up with deleting.

B) Squirrelmail is being a bastard. Took Forfrickingever to log in, and when I try to send messages, it times out. Worked fine yesterday on this machine with this router.

C) Yahoo mail. Supposedly I'm logged in (after a bazillion tries), but I cannot get to my inbox. It feels highly suspect that both my emails are behaving so poorly at the same time.

Now that my router problems are solved, I will hopefully refrain from spamming your friendslist with my whines for computer help. :) Though if you have good anti-ad program advice, I'm listening. I plan to install AdAware shortly. I have opted to wait on the tablet until after I at LEAST get the webpage all finished up, 'cause I'm weak and would want to play with it.

In other news, I am late with horoscopes again! Must try to get those done today... T'would be nice to get some articles written, but time is tight, and I would rather get the EMG site worked on. Have some pricing stuff I need to do for PA, too.

Last night, I played Masters of Orion. Lost horribly, but it was really fun and wonderful to unwind for a while. Haven't played a computer game since... about Christmas, I think. A long time, at any rate.

Tonight I have to go be social, but I'm starting to get the art itch. It's been days. Weeks, even... Oh well, it should be fun anyway...
