Jan. 9th, 2007 10:23 amGot some busywork done this morning, but am still very peeved with PCMall - yes, they FINALLY refunded my returned printer, but to the wrong CC, they STILL haven't returned my half bazillion calls (and good LUCK getting a real person), and they haven't refunded the shipping on the second printer. Not real happy with these folks.
On the other hand, very pleased with the button folks - they are replacing the cutting pad that came all bent up in my original order without fussing that I didn't report it right away, I spoke with a real life person without wading through menus and leaving messages, and they were happy to send my keychain order via priority instead of raking me across the coals with UPS. I am keen on companies that don't want to charge me to use more expensive shipping. With good luck, I'll have keychains available when I reopen.
Got my 10 page of anthology finished yesterday - I think I have just 2 1/2 months of art and fiction left to finish.
Housework (shower!) is stalled out because I have gaming tonight, and Jake will be in Nome the next two nights. Hopefully this weekend we can get the drain parts finished. I will be very, very happy to have a draining shower.
Time to paint for a while, and think about some food, and what I'll wear to my meeting. Everything cute and chic business-y that I have is pretty unsuitable for 30 below.
What I really want - a nap, an episode of StarGate SG-1 and a cup of cocoa. Hmm. I AM on vacation... supposedly! Ah, temptation...
